Boots & Dots

This playful dress is from an Australian company called Afends. We were working with them at my job for awhile. They have some pretty cool stuff! I've always been a sucker for polka dots! With the drop waist this dress has a bit of a 1920's feel. I made this sweet and simple dress a bit more fierce with some boots, a denim jacket, and a bowler hat. I recently got these Jeffrey Campbells at buffalo exchange for $40, can you say score?!

Again these photos were taken by my friend Chuck Lang. It's fun working with him because he takes me out of my usual element. I'm always wanting to do very soft and feminine photos and he brings a more rough and girtty feel.

Photographing Ashley

This is miss Ashley. One of my dear friends who happens to be drop dead gorgeous! She does modeling professionally if you couldn't tell! This past saturday she let me dress her up and take some photos! I'm a huge fan of this dreamy romantic look. Below are some of the photos we captured. I really like how they turned out, hope you do too!

Little Black Dress

Every girl needs a lovely little black dress. I have quite a few, but this is my fancy one! When I go out dancing with friends I like to wear more classy outfits. I hate all those super tight and trashy looking club dresses! I'd rather look sophisticated than sexy. I love the embroidery detailing on the top.

Lately I have been working full-time from home and just trying to figure out my game plan on moving to LA. I'm hoping to be there by July! I have been visiting often and love life in the city. Next week I'm going up there with some friends for a girls weekend! I'm going to try and remember to bring my camera and snap some fun shots :)

Keep it simple

I got this dress on sale at H&M a few weeks back. It's such a comfortable dress! My favorite part is the a-symmetrical hemline. It makes the dress so simple yet unique. I decided to accessorize with a studded headband and these amazing Jeffrey Campbells I just scored in LA! This made this look have just the right amount of edge. Lately I feel my style becoming less girly and a bit more rocker! Don't mess with this chick! LOL.

Mosaic Bird Illustration

My friend recently had me design him another tattoo! He wanted it to have a similar look to the deer illustration he got tattooed here:
http://daniroxanne.blogspot.com/2013/04/my-art-tattooed.html
This is one of a few different versions I have for him. He hasn't yet decided which one to use or if it's going to be in color or black and white. But this one is my favorite of the potential versions! I'm so excited to see it done and I'll be sure to post photos of the finished product! I'm also using this artwork for a potential T-shirt graphic shown below.

Sun dazed

These are my MC Hammer pants. I've always been a little resistant to harem pants (even though technically these aren't baggy enough to qualify), but I just loved the pattern and fit on these. And they are sooooo comfortable! I found these guys on sale at UO, I feel like they were one of those things where most people were afraid of them and that's why they went on sale haha. Those are always my favorite sale items, the ones that were just too out there to sell!

Peaches & Lace

I fell in love as soon as I saw this top! So unique. It was pretty difficult to find the right bottoms for it so I opted for a simple black pencil skirt and balanced out the outfit with a black hat. And my suede platforms matched the peach color of the top just perfectly!

So I spent much of this past week visiting Los Angeles. I love being in the city, so much inspiration. The fashion up there is such a step up compared to San Diego. I spent much of my time just sitting in cafes and coffee shops just people watching. I can't wait to maybe move there! On a side note "Sweater Weather" by The Neighborhood is my new favroite song, I don't even want to know how many times I've listened to it this week! Listen to it or die. xoxo!
